How to make your submission

Under the Planning Act 2016, you may make your submission by one of the following pathways:

1. Online submissions

   Online submissions may be made by clicking on the relevant application and selecting ‘make a submission’ below.

2. Email

   Electronic submissions may be made by email to: renewablesplanning@dsdip.qld.gov.au

3. Post

   Hard copy submissions may be made by posting to:

   State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA)
   Planning Group
   Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning
   PO Box 15009, City East QLD 4002

Submission requirements

A properly made submission under the Planning Act 2016, must:

• for a development application, be made to the Assessment Manager
• for a change application, be made to the Responsible Entity
• be received during the period for making the submission under the Planning Act 2016
• be in writing
• if provided in hard copy, be signed by each person who made the submission
• if provided electronically, be given in the way stated in the notice for making the submission
• state the name and residential or business address of each person who made the submission
• state the grounds of the submission and the facts and circumstances relied on to support the grounds
• state 1 postal or electronic address for service relating to the submission for each person who made the submission.
